FAQ

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

How much does it cost to rent a limo?

Rental costs vary based on a variety of specifics, such as – Time of year (Spring or Summer, Summer is less expensive); Type of vehicle (larger vehicles cost more); Day of week (weekends cost more); Time of Day (before 5:00 pm is less than after 5:00 pm); Type of Event (Demand is greater than supply, drives up cost) and Distance Traveled (Longer travel times can be more expensive)

Why can’t I just get a ride to and from the event, instead of having a limousine there doing nothing?

To charter a limousine require a minimum of 3 hours. Certain times of the year, such as Spring, where limousines are in high demand, those hours are increased to a minimum of 4-5 hours.   The reason for the minimum hours: The only way to insure that a limousine is there when you need it during your event is to rent it for that period. There is no guarantee that the limousine that dropped you off will be available when you are ready to be picked up, causing you to have to wait until one is available. Another good reason: To maintain a high quality of service for the client there is usually 1-2 hours of total prep time of the limo before the run and cleanup after the run for any reservation regardless of length, and it simply is not cost effective for us to send a stretch limo out for only one hour.  It is estimated that 95% of the limousine industry does not provide limousine service for one way transfers.

What is the difference between a transfer and a charter?

A transfer is when we transport a client from Point A and drop off at Point B, such as an airport and charge a flat fee.  A charter is when the client books us for a minimum of 3 hours and we charge by the hour.

What is the standard for tipping?

The average gratuity is 20%. Be sure to ask if it is included in your total fee quoted.  For a charter, it is standard to add the 20% gratuity to the total fare. For airport transfers, we ask that clients either give gratuity directly to the driver or instruct us to add to their total fare. Please keep in mind that limousine drivers earn their living by providing excellent service in exchange for gratuities, much like waiters do in fine dining restaurants.

Can I smoke or drink in the limo?

Smoking of any kind is NOT allowed inside the limo, however, the drivers are happy to stop for cigarette breaks.  As for drinking, as long as those drinking are of legal drinking age and you supply your own alcohol.

What is your cancellation policy?

The $100.00 deposit is non refundable, unless cancellation occurs 2 weeks prior to the Charter. If canceled within one (1) week of the Charter, fifty (50) percent of the Charter is charged to your credit card.  If canceled within 24 hours of the Charter, one hundred (100) percent of the Charter will be charged to your credit card.

How far in advance should I make a limo reservation?

Availability changes daily and we suggest you make your reservations as soon as you have firm travel dates and times for airport and port travel and as soon as you know the particulars of your special occasions.  There is no such thing as too early for booking.

How do I pay for the service?

You can pay with cash when the driver first arrives or you can pay by credit card.  If you are paying with a different credit card than the one used to hold the reservation, you must show proof of identification and the name must match that on the card.  Checks are accepted only from established corporate and business accounts, we do not accept personal checks from individuals.

How many people can fit into the limo?

The advertised 10 passenger limousine (120″ stretch) really only holds 8 passengers comfortably. We have access to limousines that will seat from 8 to 16.  Please advise us on how many people are in your party so that we can suggest the perfect fit for your event.  A good rule of thumb is to subtract two from the maximum advertised capacity.

When does the time start?

Your time starts when we pick you up and ends when we drop you off, there is no travel time or garage time.

I’m ready to reserve the limo, what do I do now?
